Sorrento

Sorrento

After Pompeii we went to Sorrento the ideal holiday destination.....but not for us. There was rubbish everywhere, not as bad as Pompeii but still pretty awful, and even worse, the whole city is on a six lane highway. The whole place is filled with night clubs and bars and mosquito vesper scooters everywhere.

Mosquito scooters

Scooters EVERYWHERE

We stayed of the highway in a little hotel called il Roseto. it's a kind of secret garden in a a scene from call of duty, very hard to find.

On the 1st day we decided to [wince] drive the Amalfi coast. After 2 minutes of researching we had decided to take the bus to the place because the road is so narrow and scary and Italians are crazy drivers who hoot a a lot and SMS while they drive their scooters.

This is a picture if the FAMOUSLY BEAUTIFUL Italian beaches. One stretch of land is for every body. Except the 95% of people who made them private beachesL

The bus drove past Positano where all the houses are etched into the rock. We continued along until we reached Amalfi. Now I was ready to take the bus along the coast.

After half an hour of floating amlisly around the town, I asked mum when we were going to drive the Amalfi coast. She looked at me as though I was nuts and said “ we just did”

Nooooooooooooooooo I haven't taken any pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, oh well I'll use dads I suppose, wait he didn't take any either, DAD!!!!!!!!!!¡!!!¡!!

On the bus we met 3 lovely girls from France! There names where Anglelè Garance and Suzanne piedevache and they lived next to the sea in a little town called nancy near the coast 3 and a half hours from Paris, here is a picture of them.

The frenchies

Another thing we did in Sorrento was look at some of their famous art. Not on canvas but on wood. Click here.

It's so detailed in process its ridiculous

Sorrento is a small and rather unappetising town, noble Italians used to think it was the best thing ever - yet tourists have put an end to that, too many, too loud, too cramped now.

Strange, they do that to most places, huh.

Of course WE'RE not like that!

Missing Australia and all of you.

Zo on the go who wishes she was home

P.s next stop:

The Isle of Capri
