Hello everyone
Today we went to Venice
We had fun, it was great
Here's what we did
- Caught some water taxis
- Went to St. Marks square
- Got some lunch
- Explored some more
- Caught a water taxi to Murano
St. Marks Square is very crowded and busy, i didn't like it at all! There are lots of pigeon in Venice, check this out...
Gotta love coca cola! This sign is totally made of pigeons! |
After a walk (or a shuffle) round St. Marks Square we decided that we should leave this tightly packed town square and try and find somewhere to eat. We walked the backstreets of Venice for a long time, trying to find somewhere to eat. We walked and we trudged, we skipped and we sung, until we finally found somewhere to eat.
Now apart from pasta cup, I never thought I'd find a place where they sell pasta in a box, but I did and they did it was great yummmmm!
After a while we started wandering around and looking for something to do, we looked at canavale masks for a while before we moved on to Morano
Murano is famous for its glass. I know this because on the main drag i didn't find one store that didn't sell glass something - glass animals, glass balls, glass statues you name it!
It gave the impression of an undiscovered Dubrovnik - quiet, quaint but beautiful. We wandered round for a long time but then we had to leave and go home.
.
I've had my thoughts on Venice and i like it, it hasn't been my favourite place but its one of earth's 'places to see'.
Missing you...
Zoe.
